Martina Navratilova's quest to equal the record number of Wimbledon tennis titles was dashed yesterday when she and Arantxa Sanchez Vicario lost their doubles quarter-final 6-4, 4-6, 3-6 to fifth-seeded Kimberley Po, of the US, and Nathalie Tauziat, of France.
