Soccer's governing body Fifa said yesterday that Wollongong Wolves and others affected by the world club championship cancellation would have compensation claims considered.
The decision to call off the 12-team tournament, which had been due to start in Spain in late July, led to calls for Fifa to make payouts to affected clubs because of lost revenue.
