A cut in production by the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) means fuel prices are likely to rise this week.
OPEC says it will reduce production on 1 April by 1 million barrels a day to shore up crude oil prices.
An oil industry spokesman says local companies may increase prices ahead of the move by OPEC.
