Nicole Kidman has broken her silence over her split from husband Tom Cruise, saying that being a single mother is scary.
The couple shocked the show business world last month when they announced they would separate and days later said they would divorce, ending their 10-year marriage.
In an interview with the American edition of marie claire magazine, Kidman said her primary concern now was for her two children Isabella, 8, and 6-year-old Connor.
"It's amazing the way my life has twisted and turned," said the 33-year-old Australian actress.
"Obviously, my children have a father who is going to be completely involved, but in terms of going it alone, that's scary.
"I used to say 'Wow, I have to take my hat off to a single woman who has to do it herself' - and now I'm a single mother. It's a whole new path to walk down."
