The vast majority of Mycoplasma bovis tests for Otago and Southland have been completed and most farmers involved will have their results either today or Monday says Mark Robinson.

Fonterra's Regional Head for Otago Southland spoke to The Country Early Edition's Rowena Duncum about the testing, saying signals from the Ministry of Primary Industries have been positive so far which is "really optimistic news for eradicating the disease in New Zealand."

Fonterra's interim results are coming up on March 21st and Robinson says this is a "great time to take stock of what's been happening both here and globally, as well as what's been working and what needs changing."

Also in today's interview - Robinson talks about Fonterra's new partnership with Germany company Foodspring and the Dairy Woman of the Year finalists.
