Today the Prime Minister spoke to Jamie Mackay about why the regions are suddenly so popular with politicians.

Bill English says Labour's policies would "take a lot of cash" out of people's pockets and they are starting to realise how much National has invested in the regions.

Also in today's interview Jamie and Bill discuss whether elections are cynical, if the Prime Minister will attend the Morrinsville protest and why there's suddenly a realisation that the most polluted waterways in our country are in Auckland.
