Chief Executive of Norwood, Tim Myers and The Country's Waikato-based Business Development Manager Rowena Duncum take a look at the farming issues of the day.
A small rural community in Canterbury suffered senseless vandalism over the weekend with more than 50 centre pivot irrigation tyres drilled or slashed and at least two farmers' milk let out of the vat.
Myers says the people responsible are "ignorant" and "straight out vandals," and we need to be talking about more positive rural stories.
Also in today's interview: Rowena gives The Country an update on the KPMG and BNZ Rural Update Seminar and the panel discuss the threat of alternative proteins to New Zealand agriculture.
