Winston Peters spoke to The Country's Jamie Mackay today about 27-year-old National MP Todd Barclay who Jamie referred to as a "dead man walking" after his recent political scandal.
"Politics is not a youthful game" says Winston Peters and although youthful perspective has its merits, "there is no substitute for experience". Peters says he can't possibly see how anyone could have this experience at such a young age.
Peters tells Jamie about his history as a politician and other occupations, including a stint playing rugby for the New Zealand Maori team.
