Some top golf will be played at the Stratford Golf Club on Saturday.
The club is hosting its major event for the year - the 100 Club Tournament - where plenty of play will take place on the club's tidy course.
With the competition, raffles and local hospitality, the club house will open at 9am with a mass start at 11.30am.
Club president Matthew McDonald says the tournament is a much-anticipated event on the club's calender.
"This is our biggest golf tournament in Stratford this year. The course is looking the best it has in a long time and we expect to see some exceptional golf played on the day.
"Club members and staff put a lot of effort into maintaining the course. We rate it as the best in Taranaki."
There are still some tee-times available.
Twilight Golf starts at the club on Friday November 3.
This is open to golfing and non-golfing families and gets under way at 4pm. Matthew says the opening night will feature fun activities for the kids and food will be available.
"This is a great social way to learn golf and find your way."
Junior golf coaching starts on Wednesday November 8 at 3.30pm at the club. This is open to primary and high school aged children and offers free coaching and games.
* Team Hope's annual charity tournament will be played at the club on November Saturday 11, with all proceeds going to help Stratford children in need.
The three-person ambrose tournament is a great day out and a fun way to support a local charity.
