The CMK Stratford Premiers finished their season on Saturday with a 34-31 loss in their final match.

Down 19-0, Stratford rallied to lead 31-19 with 20 minutes to go but couldn't sustain their momentum.

Stand out player of the match were captain Matthew Kissick, first five-eighth Leoni Nawai and lock Jack Jordan.

The team finished the competition in fifth place, which is lower than where they wanted to be, but an improvement on previous years.

The team thank John and the team at CMK for their support.

Without their support, clubs like Stratford wouldn't be able to function as well as they do.

Thanks also to the committee, the supporters and wives and partners for their support throughout the year.

Players would also like to thank Ra, Honkey and John for all their hard work throughout the year to make the team an exciting (and sometimes frustrating) team to watch.
