With a bouncy castle, face painting, a sand-pit dig and more the Stratford Central Kindergarten's Twilight Gala is set to be fun for the whole family, says Mel Robinson.
Mel, committee member of the Stratford Central Kindergarten, says this is the first gala for the kindergarten in a number of years and is a fundraiser for resources for the centre.
Mel says the gala is open to all families in the area, not just those who attend the kindergarten, and entry to the evening of family fun is free.
There will be a range of activities for children to get involved in with a range of great prizes up for grabs.
"We have been shown a huge amount of support by local businesses who have donated fantastic items for prizes."
The twilight gala will also feature a cake stall, raffles and a white elephant market, with a range of clothing and toys for sale that have been provided by families of the kindergarten.
There will also be a range of food available at the gala, including a sausages, burgers, icecream and fruit kebabs.
"Bring the whole family down and take the night off cooking." Mel says for prospective families the gala will also provide a great opportunity to check out the centre and meet the teachers.
With plenty of cover around the kindergarten, Mel says the gala event will go ahead no matter the weather.
Stratford Central Kindergarten Twilight Gala is on Friday, November 11 from 4.30pm-7pm at the centre, 50 Cordelia Street. Entry is free. For more information and a chance to win a mystery prize check out the kindergarten's Facebook page.
