Stratford District Council (SDC) has lifted the boiled water notice for Toko after test results came back showing the bacteria Escherichia coli (known as e-coli) has been eliminated from the Toko water supply, and the water quality has returned to normal.
The Stratford District Council had issued a boil water notice for the town on Sunday after e-coli (a bacteria which lives in the digestive tracts of humans and animals) was discovered in the water supply during routine tests.
