Dozens of small shareholders are expected to attend a meeting at Westhaven Marina this afternoon to establish the country's inaugural small shareholders association.
Auckland accountant and shareholder activist Bruce Sheppard, who called the meeting, said around 80 people were expected to attend.
Independent sharemarket analyst and Herald columnist Brian Gaynor will address the meeting, as will commercial lawyer Stewart Germann.
Mr Germann will act as the association's honorary solicitor.
