Furniture found on highway
Are you missing part of your new couch? That was the question NZ Transport Agency asked on their facebook page on Friday as crews in Northland were working hard at keeping the State Highways flowing as smoothly as possible on the long weekend. A Fulton Hogan worker had an interesting find, picking up some new sofa cushions on their journey. The cushions were located on SH1 at the Hikurangi passing lane around 1.30pm on Friday. If they belong to you or someone you know please contact Nicola on (09) 470 0718 to arrange a time to pick them up. It was a timely reminder for those travelling this weekend to ensure their loads are tied down and secure, and everything in the car is stowed away and packed properly.
