Another severe weather warning has been issued for Northland.
MetService is warning that another deep low is expected to cross northern New Zealand later today.
As the low moves across southern Northland, west to southwest gales are expected and gusts of 120 km/h are likely this afternoon and evening.
Winds of this strength may cause damage to insecure structures and make driving hazardous, especially for motorcycles and high-sided vehicles.
MetService says the weather should ease tonight.
