The Southern Hemisphere's only Lego certified professional is bringing his remarkable collection of Lego works to Hamilton this month.
Ryan McNaught's visit follows four sell-out tours in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. His collection of 60 works will be on display at Claudelands Event Centre and at Auckland's ASB Showgrounds.
New Zealand's largest exhibition of Lego works features the complete collection by Ryan McNaught, including 60 original works made up from more than five million Lego bricks.
Each model is presented with its own unique behind-the-scenes story, as well as interactive building zones.
The works include Ryan's biggest ever Star Wars build, a model Airbus A380, a quarter scale Lego Ferrari and the world's largest Lego flower.
In addition to Ryan's pieces, works from other Lego certified professionals around the world will be displayed, based around the Transport theme from their native country.
"I've also got a few exciting things for the kids - and big kids - to participate in, so everyone can enjoy creating brick masterpieces as well as enjoying the exhibition," said Ryan.
"It's going to be a lot of fun."
In 2010, Ryan took his love for Lego to a new level by becoming the only Lego certified professional in the Southern Hemisphere; he now goes by the name of 'The Brick Man'.
Proud to be one of only 14 Lego certified professionals in the world Ryan used to be a slave to the corporate world before trading in the boardroom for a Lego workshop.
The Brick Man Experience is at Claudelands Event Centre from July 29-August 15. Tickets on sale 9am, July 4 from ticketek.co.nz
